However Today when I tried to run portal 2 authoring tools beta I found that the in menu button Hammer World Editor is still linked to C drive and I cant seam to figure out how to fix this. Then put the files back in their corresponding folders once you know hammer is working right.

Getting my games to work again was not that hard and all has been working fine. I have just done a fresh steam install onto G drive gameinvo.txt I still get porrtal same error It is still directing to C drive. Some geospatial data on this website is provided by geonames.

When I tried to launch Hammer, I got the following error: Where is your gameinfo. This problem was solved by copying my Steam folder into another directory.

Just reinstall game on your C drive. After doing that, I could launch Hammer normally.
